Introducing the Optimizely SaaS CMS DAM Picker

If you've been struggling with the challenge of integrating your Optimizely Digital Asset Management (DAM) system with Optimizely SaaS CMS, this might just help.

The Interim Optimizely SaaS CMS DAM Picker I developed is a Chrome extension designed to bridge this gap, offering a streamlined way to select and insert digital assets directly from your DAM into your CMS content. 

Important Note:

• Interim Solution: This extension is a temporary solution while we eagerly await native DAM integration within Optimizely SaaS CMS.

• Known Issue: I need to work on firing the dijit event to save the update, so for now another field needs to be changed to save the page.

Get Started Today:

1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.

2. Configure the field in the CMS to connect to your DAM system.

   2. dam_fid_{folderid}_{fieldname} e.g. dam_fid_123456_Headshot
